Sara Pascoe and her husband Steen Raskopoulos, who are expecting their second child together, deserve congratulations.
Sara, 41, confirmed her pregnancy in a delighted Instagram photo little over a year after receiving their first child.
The photo showed her and Steen, 45, posing in a bathroom mirror selfie to show off the comedian’s burgeoning baby belly.
Steen, another comic, smiled while wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and black pants and holding a can of Heineken beer.
Sara, on the other hand, wore a brilliantly coloured, wavy-striped knitted outfit while carrying her phone, which had images on the cover.
‘Here we go again. Eating for two and drinking for no one 👶🏼,’ she wrote in her Instagram caption, as the comments were immediately flooded with congratulatory messages.
‘Ah congrats dolly!! (And what a great frock!!),’ wrote Ted Lasso and Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Taylor.
‘Hahaha congratulations gorgeous,’ wrote reality star Vicky Pattison, while Dancing On Ice judge Oti Mabuse added: ‘Congratulations lovely.’
Blue singer Duncan James joined in the chorus, writing: ‘Awww massive congrats to u both xixixi.’
Comedian Anne Edmonds added: ‘Oh wow. Round two. Congratulations!!’
Sara and Steen married in 2020 and welcomed their baby in February 2022, announcing his birth on Valentine’s Day.
‘Morning everyone from me and my valentines,’ she wrote in her Instagram caption at the time.
Sara previously opened up about conceiving through IVF, writing on social media: ‘Huge love and support to anyone going throguh it or thinking about it. I want you to get everything you deserve and hope you know how brave you are to go on this journey of the unknown.’
Sara returned to work a few weeks after giving birth to her baby, appearing on QI.
’I did QI five weeks after my son was born, and I thought five weeks, it’s QI, such a lovely relaxed show,’ she told Metro.co.uk last year.
She continued, saying that it was ‘mad’ and adding: ‘Then I was thought afterwards, “Oh, this was too soon? I’m absolutely insane.”‘
