Selena Gomez flashed a gleaming diamond ring on her ring finger only hours after announcing her romance with Benny Blanco.
The 31-year-old actress, who has been secretly dating the music producer for six months, posted a selfie of herself wearing some unusual jewellery on Instagram on Thursday night.
In the black and white photo, she looks to be wearing a diamond band with the word ‘B’ in the design on her left ring finger, which is traditionally designated for engagement and wedding rings.
The romantic photo comes after the Only Murders In The Building actress reacted to a post from Popfactions after the Instagram page stated she ‘apparently confirms’ that she is ‘in a relationship’.
The message was published alongside a photo of herself and Benny, 35, however his face was cropped out in the Instagram Story photograph.
She liked the post and just remarked ‘Facts’ before replying to followers who sought to attack their relationship and accuse him of’shading’ her in the past.
‘Lol yeah and he’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with. Facts,’ she replied.
She added: ‘He has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.’
‘He is my absolute everything in my heart,’ she wrote under a post on fan page @Selenagomezbr2.0, while in she revealed their have been together for six months.
In another post, the @feelingsforsel fan page accused Selena of ‘trolling’ fans with her comments.
She responded by stating that she is ‘never trolling,’ before announcing that she is stepping away from the social media site until she has to be back on to promote her projects.
She wrote: ‘Never trolling. I’m leaving Insta for a while until I have to work again. I just stand up for what I believe in. I have no shame doing that. I love my fans more than anything in the world.’
Selena has kept her dating life firmly behind closed doors in recent years, despite previously being in high-profile partnerships with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.
She discussed her love needs during an interview on Hits 1 LA in September to promote her new single, Single Soon.
‘I think I have standards, and I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance,’ she said, referencing a line from the song.
She added: ‘You’ve got to be cool. Not cool in the sense that people think you’re cool. You just got to be nice and please make me laugh. Also just be good to my family and people around you.’
