Travis Barker appeared to spend a moment of thought for prayer just hours before a family disaster occurred.
The drummer for Blink-182, who is expecting a child with wife Kourtney Kardashian, was on tour with the punk band this week in Europe.
However, the band said on Friday afternoon that Travis, 47, had to return to the United States due to a ‘important family emergency,’ without elaborating.
Six hours before the incident, the band looked set to hit the stage, posting photographs of their tour van on Instagram. He also took a photo outside a prayer area with the words ‘everyone welcome.’
A stained glass window within the chamber and a sign draped on the wall proclaimed, ‘Together we pray.’
Fans rushed to send Travis well wishes with one commenting: ‘My thoughts are with @travisbarker and his family.’
‘Hope everything’s ok with Travis, see you soon in Manchester,’ another said.
One fan wrote: ‘Get everyone healthy and happy and we will see you soon !’
A message on Blink-182’s X account (formerly Twitter) read: ‘Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed.
‘More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.’
Blink-182, which also includes Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, announced last year that they will reunite for a massive tour, which began in April.

After going on a short summer break in July, the All The Small Things hitmakers were due to resume the tour on Friday (September 1) at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, before moving onto other cities such as Belfast, Dublin, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Stockholm, Prague and Amsterdam, Paris and London.
The European leg is due to conclude in October before returning to the States for two shows, and picking up again in Australia in February 2024.
During one of their earlier shows this summer, Travis’ wife Kourtney, 44, announced she was pregnant while watching the rocker perform from the audience. It will be the couple’s first baby together but they share six children between them from previous relationships.
