Vanessa Hudgens has confirmed her engagement to baseball player Cole Tucker, with the couple expressing their pleasure in an Instagram picture.
In one photo, Vanessa, a former High School Musical actress, can be seen wearing a sparkling diamond ring and posing for the camera with the Eiffel Tower in Paris in the background.
Cole, 26, is holding Vanessa, 34, from behind while braving the chilly winter weather in France with identical black jackets.
Vanessa unveiled a close-up of her engagement ring as it shone in the moonlight in the City of Love in the second shot in their joint social media post.
‘YES. ‘We couldn’t be happier,’ she added in the post, while followers and friends congratulated them both.
The announcement of their engagement comes after it was previously rumoured that the pair was planning to marry.
They allegedly got engaged in late 2022 after embarking on a romantic trip to Paris together in November.
Vanessa’s close friend, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, commented on her Instagram photo with the song Thank Goodness from the musical Wicked, writing: ‘Couldn’t be happier right here, Look what we’ve got a fairy-tale plot, Our very own happy ending.’
‘Love you guys,’ said Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson, while Pitch Perfect’s Brittany Snow wrote: ‘CONGRATS v!!! Love love love.’

Vanessa, who previously dated Elvis star Austin Butler, revealed her romance with Cole on Valentine’s Day in 2021, posting a photo of them on Instagram sharing a romantic kiss.
‘It’s you, it’s me, it’s us,’ she wrote in the caption at the time.
