Vicky Pattison has been left fuming after her post on social media was removed due to ‘hate speech.’
The Geordie Shore star went on an angry rant after a ‘fun little Reel’ of her and husband-to-be Eric Ramadan was banned due to supposedly violating Instagram’s community guidelines.
In the original video, Vicky, 34, joked about Ercan, 38, having ‘the emotional capabilities of a slipper,’ as she declared in the caption: ‘Men, eh?’
However, it seems Instagram wasn’t a fan, much to Vicky’s fury.
The TV personality shared a screenshot to her Story after Instagram took down her vid, with their reason stating: ‘Your post has been removed. It goes against our community guidelines on hate speech or symbols. Our guidelines encourage people to express themselves in a way that’s respectful to everyone. If you think that we’ve made a mistake, you can ask us to review our decision.’
In response, Vicky began: ‘@instagram are you f***ing joking me??? A fun little reel about me fella having the emotional capabilities of a slipper is considered “hate speech”?!

‘Yet there are children being bullied to the point of suicide? Professional athletes being racially abused and young women being cyber stalked to the point where they don’t feel safe in their own homes that you supposedly can’t do anything about but THIS is a big priority?!!!’
‘You need to address your priorities…’, she told the social site.
She also posted the caption to her grid, but this was removed by Instagram as well.

Before it was deleted, the caption also said: ‘To the fellas I’m assuming I triggered so much with this that they felt they need to report me, grow up lads.
‘It was just a laugh and if it was maybe a bit too close to home, try listening to your birds once in a while.’
Taking to her Story later in the day to show that the follow-up post had also been flagged, she concluded: ‘Instagram has removed THAT post now as well.’
In their stance against ‘hate speech,’ Instagram’s website states: ‘Our rules against hate speech don’t tolerate attacks on people based on their protected characteristics, including race or religion.’
They add: ‘We strengthened these rules last year, banning more implicit forms of hate speech, like content depicting Blackface and common antisemitic tropes. We take action whenever we become aware of hate speech, and we’re continuously improving our detection tools so we can find it faster.’
But, Vicky surely won’t let her Insta drama dull her sparkle, as she’s preparing to celebrate her 35th birthday on November 16.
By her side, of course, will be fiancé Eran, to whom she got engaged in February in a romantic proposal.
They’re in no rush to walk down the aisle, though, as former I’m A Celebrity queen Vicky told Metro.co.uk that she’s ‘stopping to tell the roses.’
‘We haven’t started [planning] yet. When we first got engaged, I wanted to get married next year then start having kids. It was almost like I was on fast forward and I don’t know why because I’ve realised that’s been my mistake a number of times in the past, rushing into things, and not stopping smell the roses,’ she said.
