Vicky Pattison’s dramatic reproductive journey thus far has been derailed by the discovery of yet another ovarian cyst, which has rendered her egg-freezing efforts impossible.
The 35-year-old Geordie Shore actress revealed that she sobbed for a full day after learning that her reproductive treatment would be ineffective if it went on as planned because of a cyst that must be removed.
The 2015 I’m a Celebrity winner, who is engaged to a man named Ercan Ramadan, 38, has expressed her disappointment at being unable to freeze her eggs, saying that she feels “as if someone had let all the air out of a balloon.”
‘Unfortunately yesterday didn’t go as planned and I have another cyst on one of my ovaries,’ Vicky told her Instagram followers.
‘I’m naturally a little bit disappointed and spent most of yesterday crying and just feeling super drained- it was as if someone had let all the air out of a balloon.
‘But I suppose that was just all the angst and nervous energy leaving my body and making me feel like a human raisin 😂.’
However, the reality star also acknowledged she was ‘thankful’ to be in a ‘position to have options’, as she understands these types of challenges are ‘pretty common’.
Sharing her tale so frankly, Vicky said she wants other women going through the same thing to know they are not alone, ‘no matter how it may feel’.
Ending on a positive note, she said: ‘I’ve made my peace with this today- I’m going back to work, I’m going to focus on other things and I will try again next month ♥️.’

After beginning fertility treatment and realising she didn’t know a thing, even the price tag of £10,000, Vicky chose to share her experience with the world.
Chatting last year, she said: ‘If you are hoping to have kids in your 30s, 40s, or in later life, there are certain issues for a lot of people, so I want to be honest because not enough people are.
‘There’s so much hardship to conceiving naturally after 30 that I wasn’t aware of, so I’m gonna continue to talk about my journey.’
This comes at a time when, in 2020, for the first time since records began, half of women in England and Wales did not have children by age 30.
Vicky and Eric, who enjoyed a brief stint on Towie, got engaged in February last year, but the Geordie lass isn’t rushing into things, and admitted in August that their relationship ‘is probably not ready to have kids yet’.
