Fans haven’t had to wait long, as Molly-Mae Hague has now revealed her daughter’s name.
Yesterday, she announced that she and her partner, Love Island‘s Tommy Fury, had become parents to their first child.
Well, Molly, 23 years old, has revealed the name they’ve chosen for their daughter less than 24 hours later, and it’s a fairly cute name.
Molly posted a photo on Instagram of their fussy baby girl in her crib, along with the simple caption “Bambi.” The baby’s name was also displayed in neon above the bed.
Fans tried to guess the name the couple would give their child, with suggestions ranging from Nephele to Bambi (the name of the famous animal from Disney’s 1942 masterpiece).
During an October Q&A with fans, PrettyLittleThing’s creative director Molly hinted to the “unusual” title.
‘Yes, we do have a baby girl name picked out,’ she revealed.
‘I’ve had the name picked out since I was basically a baby girl myself!’
She said it’s “always been my fantasy baby girl name, and thankfully when I met Tommy and I gave him the name…he really liked it too.”
The reality star didn’t give away the name, but she did call it ‘really, really unusual and different.’
‘I do not know anybody else with the name. I have not really seen any other girls with the name before, it’s like that different.’
Molly elaborated, “It is really weird, super strange,” adding, “The audience will definitely love it or detest it.”
‘Nobody will guess it because it’s not even really a name.’

After the birth of their daughter on January 23, Molly and Tommy waited a week before announcing the news to the world.
Molly updated her followers on the happy news, writing, “One week old today.” I still can’t believe we get to keep you permanently.
‘Becoming your mum has been the best thing to ever happen to me… it doesn’t seem possible but my love for you grows with each passing moment. There is no feeling like holding you in my arms little one, my heart literally explodes.’
She added: ‘Thank you for entering the world safely for us and blessing us with the gift of being your parents.
‘We promise to love and and care for you unconditionally forever.’
Boxer Tommy, 23, said in his own post: ‘I’ll protect you forever my little girl.’
The new parents also showed off their newborn baby, Bambi, at the hospital and at home in Manchester, cradled in their arms and smothered in love.
Celebrities such as Maura Higgins, Stacey Solomon, and Kate Ferdinand, as well as Tommy’s brother and sister-in-law Tyson and Paris Fury, sent their congratulations on the birth of their baby.
Following the news’s release on Monday, Molly returned to Instagram on Tuesday morning to express her gratitude to her followers for their support.
‘We appreciate it so much,’ she said.
In September, Tommy and Molly shared the news that they were expecting their first child.
They are one of the few remaining couples from the 2019 season of ITV2’s Love Island, where they first met.
