It’s that hilarious time of year again.
The finalists for the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2023 have been announced and they are bound to bring a smile to your face.
From a kangaroo playing air guitar to a young monkey begging for a kiss, this year’s snaps provide exactly what they promise – a heaping serving of hilarity.
The finalist photos were chosen from hundreds of entries from both professional and amateur photographers, and the winners will be revealed on November 23.
They are also carried all over the world, capturing various species from all over the world.
The prizes, which were launched in 2015 by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, also encourage animal conservation, with this year’s competition benefiting the Whitley finance for Nature, a UK organisation that helps finance conservationists all around the globe.
But enough chit-chat; we know you want to see the photos.
The contenders for the 2023 awards are listed below, and they range from melancholy owls to courteous baby bears.
