A new Super Bowl commercial has been released ahead of the release of Scream 6, and Ghostface is more horrifying than ever.
Scream VI, the next installment in the Slasher franchise, will be released in theatres on March 10, following Tara (Jenna Ortega) and her sister Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) as they relocate from Woodsboro to New York.
Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad Meeks Martin (Mason Gooding) will join them in the city, while Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere will reprise their roles.
The caravan was released last month, and it showed the masked assassin stalking the group through the streets of New York as their’shrine’ to prior Ghostfaces was exposed.
The murderer can be seen breaking his way into a home in a new Super Bowl trailer, sending everyone fleeing for their lives.
In an attempt to escape, they place a ladder through the window of their top-floor flat, over to the building opposite, and crawl across in turns.

Ghostface emerges behind Mindy as she climbs the ladder, but will she make it safely?
Elsewhere in the brief film, Kirby Reed (Hayden) insists: ‘This isn’t like any other Ghostface,’ while Tara argues that they must be ‘killed’.
In the last seconds, she teases the murderer, saying, ‘Come on, motherf**ker.’
Tara and her pals go to New York for college in the sixth film, with Sam accompanying her to protect her.
Jenna revealed to Entertainment Weekly what horror fans may anticipate, explaining that her character had to deal with her’suffocating’ sibling as well as Ghostface’s attacks.
‘At the top of the film we see my character Tara avoiding her trauma and desperately trying to reclaim her teenage experience and become normal college student,’ she said.
‘There’s a lot of tension between her and Sam, she feels as though she’s too protective and unwilling to allow them both to move on. She feels suffocated.’
‘Not a lot of time has passed since the last movie,’ Melissa says of how the Woodsboro gang dealt with the drama from the last film. ‘Pretty much, the amount of time that has elapsed between movies equals the amount of time that has passed in their universe.’
‘So the trauma is still very fresh. One of my favorite parts about this movie is that we really get to see how the happenings of the last movie affected them. We get to really see the baggage that they’re carrying now and how each of them is dealing with it differently.’
Scream 6 is released in cinemas on March 10.
