M3GAN, the wacky, spooky, and downright strange new horror film, is causing quite a stir.
The sci-fi film, which has yet to be released in the UK, follows a robot named M3GAN and her new family, who constructed the AI doll to keep their precious daughter company.
There is, of course, a twist. M3GANcan be a little too protective.
This humorous horror will have you terrified out one moment and in stitches (the good ones) the next, according to reviews.
But, before the film’s premiere, who is M3GANin real life? And who is playing her family? Here’s everything you need to know about 2023’s most iconic film thus yet.
When is M3GAN released and is it only out in cinemas?
Who is in M3GAN?
Allison Williams plays Gemma, the unanticipated carer for her eight-year-old niece Cady. Gemma, unable to cope, seeks the assistance of scary doll M3GAN.
The 34-year-old American actor is most known for his role as Marnie Michaels in the HBO show Girls.
Allison also serves as the film’s executive producer.
She has one son, Arlo, who was born in 2021, and she can’t participate in all of the internet buzz because, according to an interview with Town & Country, the actress deserted social media in 2020.
Cady is played by Violet McGraw, a young actor who has starred in a variety of roles since 2018, when she was cast as Nina in the hit Netflix series Love.
M3GAN is more than just a bunch of wires and buttons, and it’s not even just one actor – it’s two.
Amie Donald, a 12-year-old competitive international dancer, physically brought M3GAN to life with her motions and those memorable dance scenes.
Born in New Zealand Amie is also an actress, having starred as Maya Monkey in Netflix’s Sweet Tooth in 2021.
Jenna Davis, a YouTube celebrity, is the 18-year-old behind M3GAN’s voice.
Jenna rose to prominence through her singing on the video platform, where she has 2 million members, and quickly transitioned into acting, appearing in Chicken Girls: The Movie, Raven’s Home, and Maggie.
The actor, who lives in Los Angeles, just filmed a video about the film, which you can view below.

Could there be a M3GAN sequel?
James Wan, an Australian producer, has already mentioned the idea of an M3GAN sequel, and he has even hinted at wanting to start a franchise.
‘What I will say to that is, whether it’s The Conjuring Universe, or Saw, or Malignant, or M3GAN here, we like to think of a bigger world,’ he told Collider.
He continued: ‘For me, it’s about creating the world, and knowing who the characters are, where the story could potentially go, and then building this bigger world.’
