Meadow Walker, Paul Walker’s daughter, has revealed that she will make her Fast and Furious debut in the next sequel.
Fast X will be released in theatres on May 19, with Vin Diesel once again headlining a star-studded ensemble that includes Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Tyrese, and Nathalie Emmanuel.
Charlize Theron, Jason Statham, and John Cena will all return, as will Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, and Rita Moreno, as well as director Louis Leterrier, who replaces Justin Lin.
Meadow took to Instagram to share a photo of herself on set, pretending to be on an aircraft.
‘A peek of my appearance in Fast X,’ the 24-year-old said, keeping her character’s identity a secret.
‘I was one year old when the first fast was launched!’ On set, I grew up watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris, and others on the monitors.

‘Thank you @louisleterrierpro for your kindness, patience and support. It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started, I’m happy it’s just the beginning.
‘Special shoutout to my dad’s best friend who is now my best friend @bbirtell, this wouldn’t have been possible without you. I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x I love you all so much.’
Vin was among the first to celebrate the announcement, sliding into the comments below with a prayer hands emoji.
A fan penned: ‘OMG!!! this is so emotional🥹 Thanks to Paul Walker, we’ve all become lovers of cars and Fast and Furious… Paul is so proud of you Meadow.’

Paul, who shares the model with Rebecca Soteros, died in a vehicle accident in California in 2013 at the age of 40.
Meadow was quickly accepted into his onscreen ‘family’ by his co-stars, and the two have stayed close ever since.
She recently opened out about her grief in an interview with Page Six, noting that she continues to watch her late father’s films.
‘They always say the first thing you forget about someone is their voice, so I’m fortunate enough to have his voice in many movies,’ she said.
‘I like to watch his movies at night. For me, it brings me joy to talk about him and keep his spirit alive.’
Fast X is released in cinemas on May 19.
