You know Christmas really is all around when you want to curl up in front of Love Actually.
Yes, we know there are haters. But come on, who doesn’t chuckle when Bill Nighy’s aging rocker Billy Mack calls them Ant or Dec?
Or when Hugh Grant’s Prime Minister grooves his way dad dancing down the stairs of Number 10?
And as for Emma Thompson’s warm-hearted mum Karen, don’t get us started on her Joni Mitchell moment. Makes us cry just thinking about it.
True love, after all, is supposed to last a lifetime. Which our love for this most festive of Christmas films certainly does.
So where can you watch Love Actually this Christmas?
Here’s what you need to know…
Is Love Actually on Netflix?
First the bad news – Love Actually isn’t on Netflix anymore.
Last Christmas when we all got plunged into another lockdown, streaming beloved Alan Rickman’s Harry spiral into an affair with that she-devil Mia on Netflix was just the distraction we needed.
When she purred about ‘hanging round the mistletoe, waiting to be kissed’ we had to stop ourselves throwing things at the telly. Even though we’d seen it a hundred times before.
But as ever, Andrew Lincoln’s Mark was always there with his signs to cheer us up. Along with Billy Mack taking his clothes off. And Liam Neeson serving up stepdad goals.
Oh, we almost forgot Colin Firth’s Jamie, delivering the funniest yet most romantic proposal ever. Yes be our answer!
Love Actually is the ultimate emotional roller coaster. One minute your heart is breaking, the next you’re learning that eight is a lot of legs, David.
Or that more than one lobster was present at the birth of Jesus.
But sadly this year it’s not on Netflix anymore.
Where can you stream Love Actually?
Now for the good news.
If you’ve got Amazon Prime you can stream Love Actually for free. Along with one of our other favourite Christmas movies, The Holiday.
You can also download it on Amazon for £3.99, or order the DVD.
Love Actually is also available to rent on iTunes and Google Play.
Is Love Actually on TV this Christmas?
ITV2 went early with it – screening the movie on Saturday, December 3.
But wherever you watch it, Love Actually is Christmas. And even though it isn’t on Netflix, it is pretty much all around.
