Following an appalling accident where Bebe Rexha was struck in the face with a phone, she has given an update on her tour, receiving an outpouring of support from fans.
During a recent live performance in New York, the 33-year-old singer had to interrupt the event after a phone was launched at her, causing her to clutch her face in pain and fall to her knees.
Unable to make a stage comeback, Rexha was escorted out of the venue. She later posted pictures on Instagram detailing a bruise on her left eye and a cut beneath her left eyebrow.
In her caption, she assured her followers, ‘I’m okay,’ before unveiling a new post about the incident and her intentions to carry on with the tour.
‘Even though the concert concluded on a regrettable note, it was a spectacular show in my hometown. Thank you so much, New York. I adore you. The tour must go on!!!’ she expressed.
Rexha added: ‘Philly, you’re next! Which concert will you be attending?! #bestfnnightofmylifetour.’
The comments section was filled with comforting messages from fans, with one person stating: ‘I adore you!! It was a fantastic evening, I’m so sorry this happened queen.’
Another user praised: ‘You’re a queen! Nothing can stop you!!!💓💓💓💓💓.’
Someone else referred to Bebe as a ‘fighter’, while another fan called her a ‘Legend.’
Currently touring the United States, Bebe, who’s real name is Bleta Rexha, is set to perform in Philadelphia on the night of Tuesday, June 20.
The Grammy-nominated artist will continue her tour with performances in Maryland, Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and finally London, which will happen in late July.
Her journey will carry on into Germany, with concerts planned there and in the Netherlands after her London visit.
After that, Bebe is set to perform in Canada in August and later in Brazil in early September.
After the phone incident, Bebe uploaded a video to Instagram showing her bruised face, with the caption: ‘Still making a black eye look good lolol.’
Earlier in the month, she posted on Instagram, ‘I’m really enjoying the tour. I’ve been having so much fun!!!!’
