Tammy Slaton was robbed while in rehab by cruel burglars, it has been discovered.
After being sent to the hospital just hours after arriving at a weight loss programme, the 1000Lb Sisters star has had a difficult year.
She was in a medically induced coma battling for her life before returning to the rehab clinic to resume her fitness quest.
However, her life is shaken once more in the forthcoming episode of the TLC series when her home is looted by intruders.
In a video acquired by E! News, her sisters, Amanda and Misty Slaton, come at her house to pick up some items before discovering that the house has been burgled.
‘Girl, all of her belongings have vanished! ‘Oh, this is some bulls**t,’ Amanda exclaims as they take in the devastation.
‘The fridge was over here,’ she continues, walking through the property. ‘The table was here. The kitchen sink is gone. The bathroom sink. the water heater is missing.
‘Her dresser that was in here is gone with the rest of the clothes and s**t that was in it.’
Amanda expresses her concern for her frail sibling, who went directly from the hospital to rehab, indicating that she is unsure if Tammy should return.
‘What the hell is she coming home to? There’s nothing there. I don’t even know if I want her to go home there anymore,’ she says.

‘I’m nervous about telling Tammy, “Girl, all your stuff is gone and your house has been robbed.”
‘It’s definitely devastating for Tammy because she loves her home. She loves having her own place to call her own.
‘At this point, she doesn’t have anything that’s hers. Just the clothes that she took with her. She doesn’t even have a place at this point and all she wants to do is come home.’
They phone their sister Amy – who fronts 1000Lb Sisters with Tammy – who is furious about the development as they prepare to submit a police statement.

She adds to the camera: ‘While Tammy was in rehab, fighting for her life, somebody goes in and robs her house. Everything is gone. So Tammy literally has nothing to her name.’
Tammy has been struggling since her release from the hospital, with the current 1000Lb Sisters series concentrating on her recuperation from her health crisis.
In a recent interview with People Magazine, she claimed that she has changed dramatically since those moments were shot.
‘My near-death experience has taught me not to take life for granted,’ she said. ‘I now live my life how I want to and not how others want me to.
‘It has also mellowed me out. I try harder to not get mad as easily and try to figure out a way around the situation.
‘I’m grabbing the bull by the horns and taking control of my life again and not letting my body defeat me.’
‘I told y’all that this wasn’t the end of me,’ she added. ‘The new and improved Tammy is on the way.’
1000Lb Sisters airs on TLC on Tuesdays at 8pm ET.
