Amanda Holden appeared to rip into Holly Willoughby‘s This Morning speech addressing Phillip Schofield‘s abrupt leaving, but she has since said it was ‘taken out of context.’
‘Are you OK?’ Holly questioned This Morning viewers on Monday, her first broadcast after Phillip Schofield‘s surprise resignation and after he revealed to having an affair with a younger runner.
Amanda grabbed the opportunity to join the chorus of others in ridiculing the odd statement.
‘Hello, it’s Tuesday,’ she says in an Instagram video in a white outfit identical to Holly’s, clasping her hands and asking her fans. ‘Are you all right?’
During her Heart breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston, 52, she had another go at Holly.
Jamie said to another guest ‘We’re worried about your well-being’ before Amanda howled: ‘I’m OK people, are you OK?’

Amanda’s representative has recently said that there was a misunderstanding.
‘Amanda has always made it clear in the past she has no issues with Holly. Today’s video has been taken out of context.’
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, on the other hand, notoriously feuded with Schofield, 61, after he reportedly stopped her from presenting This Morning alongside him while Holly, 42, was in Australia shooting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2018.
She looked to be celebrating Schofield’s surprise departure from This Morning last month. Amanda rushed to Instagram shortly after he issued his resignation announcement to publish a simple photograph of the flexed bicep emoji on a dark backdrop.
Although the sign is evidently regularly used to celebrate or express triumph, the post had no caption.
She has also previously named him as one of the three things she wouldn’t want to find in her house (alongside spiders and flies).
Speaking about hosting with Amanda in 2014, Schofield told Heat magazine: ‘She has a faulty edit button and she forgets she’s on the telly, which is enormously endearing and funny, but occasionally quite scary.’
