I’m A Celebrity’s Amir Khan… I Need to Get Out of Here! Following his failed drug test, his All Stars participation is said to be under evaluation.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly revealed that the boxer will return to the wilderness, joining Carol Vorderman and Jordan Banjo.
In 2017, the 36-year-old featured on the 17th season, where he got into a spot of trouble after the infamous ‘Strawberry Gate’ with comedian Iain Lee.
However, his participation in the All-Star series is being reconsidered after Khan was given a two-year ban from all sports following a failed anti-doping test following his loss to archrival Kell Brook in February last year.
The father of three tested positive for ostarine but insists he did not do so on purpose.
An impartial review approved his case, ruling out ‘deliberate or careless behaviour’ and finding that the amount of ostarine in his system was insufficient to improve his performance.
A source said: ‘This news will have led to discussions internally, it may mean he is featured slightly less prominently or a conversation around camp is now more relevant or revealing.’
The insider added to The Mirror: ‘But it really depends a lot on what happened in the jungle. The timing of news of this ban is not ideal for ITV.’
The All-Stars series was shot in South Africa last September and is expected to reach our TVs in a matter of weeks.

Ahead of appearing on the all-stars series, Khan said: ‘I’m determined this time not to be soft when it comes to the trials.’
Ant and Dec announced the line-up on Saturday Night Takeaway, which features Helen Flanagan and Fatima Whitbread, saying, ‘Now it’s something we’ve always wanted to do and it’s I’m a Celeb like you’ve never seen it before.
