Season 2 of And Just Like That is almost here, as the show’s creators have confirmed.
Today, HBO Max released an announcement poster revealing that some of our fave cast members would return for the second season of the Sex And The City spin-off.
Of course, Sarah Jessica Parker will be joined by Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis for the spin-off, after Samantha Jones indicated she would not be joining the cast.
Along with Che Diaz’s character Sara Ramirez, Seema Patel actor Sarita Choudry, Karen Pittman as Dr Nya Wallace, and Ari Parker as Lisa Todd, the phrase ‘Pull up a chair, it’s going to be a feast’.
Sarah made a similar statement on social media, announcing ‘New Beginnings are in Season’ featuring Niall Cunningham as Brady Hobbes and Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt.
Meanwhile, Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino, Cathy Ang as Lily York Goldenblatt, and Alex Swinton as Rock round out the cast.
She wrote: ‘Season 2 of #AndJustLikeThat premieres June 22 on Max.
‘Consider this your official invitation. And plus 1s (or 2s, 3s, 4s…) are all welcome here.
‘Hope you’re hungry. X, SJ,’ before adding more outfit details in the comments.
While some fans have gone into a frenzy knowing the date is approaching, others have spotted something that has them concerned.
Charlotte actress Kristin has sparked confusing comments, with one fan asking: ‘Charlotte is that you?’
‘And just like photoshop,’ another joked while someone else penned: ‘Charlotte giving AI realness.’
Someone else wrote: ‘There’s some filtering going on here. That doesn’t even look like Charlotte.’
Another, on the other hand, was significantly more enthusiastic, writing: ‘This is such a terrific marketing shot!! ‘I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season!’
This comes after a first peek video showed John Corbett’s character Aidan Shaw approaching Sarah’s character Carrie’s recognisable brown-stone New York flat.
Aiden was the leading lady’s past love interest in the films and TV programme that followed the struggles and tribulations of the stylish columnist.
In the newly released footage, Sarah as Carrie is heard saying: ‘And just like that, I realized some things are better left in the past, but maybe not everything.’
And Just Like That season 2 lands on HBO Max on June 22.
