Emma Jones, a BBC Sport presenter, uncovered catfish online who used her images to pose as her on dating sites.
In photos uploaded on her Instagram Story, she reminded her 377,000 followers that it wasn’t her behind the profiles, pointing out that one had a significant age difference.
Emma, who works for MOTDx and Viaplay Sports, was emailed screenshots of phoney accounts on Uberf***y that were allegedly utilising her photos.
The presenter denied any involvement in their establishment while also expressing bewilderment about the site itself.
‘I am also on Uberf***y,’ she wrote alongside two crying emojis according to MailOnline, which described the site as being ‘X-rated’.
She added: ‘What is an uberf***y? I don’t want to Google it.’

Emma discovered another discovery when she discovered a Tinder profile had been created using her profile.
While the account used her legal name, the age stated in the bio was incorrect, suggesting she was 44.
In her caption, Emma mocked the moniker with a green tick emoji while mocking the age claim with a middle finger and a cry-laughing emoji.
Last September, the presenter tweeted a shot of herself wearing a dazzling full-length gown and standing on a rugby pitch in her heels.
She then sent a response to the trolls who had harassed her, stating she wanted to post the photo because she ‘felt wonderful’ in her gown.
‘Thank you to the overwhelming majority of you who have called out the few misogynists & dinosaurs in the replies to this. Unfortunately it’s usually those people who shout the loudest,’ she said at the time.
‘I was hosting an awards ceremony & I felt lovely in my new dress, so I wanted to share it.’
Fellow sports presenter Laura Woods responded: ‘What some people don’t get is…you’re allowed to be both! You’re smart and you’re beautiful. One shouldn’t and doesn’t cancel out the other.
‘I absolutely love seeing other people’s glams, women AND men. And if you stopped posting them I’d be pretty disappointed tbh.’
