Gary King has admitted to being envious of Daisy Kelliher’s passionate kissing of Colin Macrae on the new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
The shocking boatmance was revealed in the season four teaser, which comes after the head stewardess hugged the bosun in passionate hot tub scenes last year.
Gary spoke about the moments in a recent interview ahead of the series’ premiere on 10 April, revealing he thought the love triangle “a little bit strange.”
‘I’d say to a certain extent I was a bit jealous. Having hooked up with Daisy, we do have a connection regardless of whether she denies it or not,’ he said.
‘And I think anyone in this world will be a bit jealous if they see the person that they’ve got a connection with hooking up with someone else. I mean, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous.’
When challenged about his statements in the teaser, indicating that Daisy kissed the chief engineer to be ‘spiteful’, he said that it was his ‘initial impression’.

‘But then I came to find out that there were feelings involved. So the best thing that I could do is just be supportive of them. And as a friend — if another girl chooses someone else over me — I’ve just got to be supportive of it. And I hope I was,’ he continued to Us Weekly.
Despite the kiss, Gary refused to rule out the prospect of a future relationship with Daisy.

‘I speak to Daisy quite a lot and the problem is we are always so far away from each other. Our lives are in very different stages at the moment, but I’m definitely keeping that door open,’ he added.
‘You never know what could happen. I won’t say that it’s not going to happen. There is definitely chemistry between us so I’m quite excited to see what the future holds.’
In the season’s shocking trailer, audiences saw Daisy and Colin get very close on board before another footage showed them going into bed together.

In an interview with E! News, the leader of the interior crew discussed the upcoming episodes, revealing that their tryst threw a “spanner in the works.”
‘It definitely puts a bit of a spanner in the works and challenges all of our friendships: my friendships with the boys, the boys’ friendship with each other,’ she said.
‘I don’t know why it gets complicated, but it does. I guess that’s what happens when you start making out with all your work colleagues. It definitely leads to some interesting conversations.’
‘I was annoyed,’ she added of Gary’s reaction. ‘I was a bit frustrated that Gary was making things, once again, about him. It was like, “You know I can have my own life and it not be about you?” So for me it was a little frustrating.’
Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres on April 10 on Bravo.
