Big Brother has only recently begun, but it is evident that they are not here to mess around!
The ITV reboot of the legendary reality series stars AJ Odudu and Will Best, with a whole new group of new housemates entering the even more iconic home in the hopes of earning £100,000.
It’s been five years since BB last graced our screens, and while watchers were eager to see how the return would be handled, episode one has revealed one thing: these housemates will not have it easy.
Jenkin, a 25-year-old barman from Bridgend, was the first to enter the residence.
While Jenkin was eager to go inside the opulent new pad, a game of hide and seek swiftly had the rug torn from under his feet.
Big Brother assigned the new housemates the duty of concealing in their new home, warning them that the first person discovered by the next roommate to go through the door will be in for a bad surprise.

Unfortunately, Jenkin was that person, as 12th roommate Matty, 24, a doctor from the Isle of Man, spotted him in seconds.
When Jenkin lost the game, Big Brother informed him that he ‘would not receive hot water for the next 24 hours.’
‘Jenkin, it’s cold showers for you,’ Big Brother said.
Jenkin, clearly displeased and ready to give his BB experience a one-star rating, said: ‘That’s slick as f**k.’
Twitter users were relishing the cruelty in response to the shocking revelation.
Others were ecstatic to see the ‘classic’ Big Brother model back in action.

‘LOL NO HOT WATER FOR A DAY? YES OLD BB IS BACK’, one viewer tweeted.
‘We’re not even an hour in to the new series and already Big Brother has pulled out the hot water punishment’, another wrote.
‘The no hot water consequence is so old school Big Brother I love it’, one added.
‘Withholding the hot water already? I’m so proud of Big Brother’, agreed one.
Not only that, but Jenkin was picked by customer service representative Yinrun, 25, to prepare her breakfast in bed after she won a game of musical statues.
Oh, and he doesn’t have a suitcase…
Yes, as Big Brother was playing what would normally be a joyful game of pass the parcel, some harsh realities were delivered to the housemates, as Jenkin was picked as the one with the’most dubious clothing sense’ based on initial impressions.

So, in classic Big Brother fashion, his possessions were… blown up.
The reality star was justifiably terrified of what his first 24 hours in the BB house would be like: no hot water, no clothing, and cooking for others.
Jenkin wasn’t the only one who drew the short straw; he also had to choose a housemate who he believed would be the most hardest to live with.
He brutally picked Olivia, a 23-year-old Scottish dancer, saying they hadn’t ‘gelled’ yet (after only five minutes).
While not having hot water is obviously inconvenient, Jenkin’s decision meant Olivia was dealt the worst hand of all, as she now faced the first eviction, which left her in tears.
Think again if you thought ITV’s Big Brother would be kind on this bunch…
Big Brother airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
