Henry made his political beliefs obvious before entering the Big Brother house, and, well, the tweets wrote themselves…
The culinary writer is one of 16 new faces joining the historic ITV institution as part of its resurrection led by AJ Odudu and Will Best.
The insane social experiment has returned to our televisions after five years away, and Big Brother has already begun dealing out cruel forfeits, demonstrating there will be no messing around.
Naturally, as the housemates were presented one by one, fans at home were eager to weigh in, and, well, Henry didn’t get the best reception.
In his first VT, the 25-year-old Cotswolds native declared his admiration for the Conservative Party and former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
‘I went to boarding school, we had our beloved matron who would do our washing, leave our bedding at the end of our beds… I would love for there to be a matron in the house,’ he said, immediately raising eyebrows.
‘At the last election, I voted for the Conservative Party because, at the end of the day, Boris Johnson is the person who I’d want to go for a martini the most with,’ he added.
Henry concluded: ‘I’m definitely a royalist. I think people who don’t like the Royal Family should just leave the country, to be honest.’
As you can expect, Twitter users had a lot to say.
‘Tories are in power because of t**s like Henry who vote for a PM based on who they want to go for a drink with’, one person wrote.
‘He’s gonna get ate alive in there. Get him girls’, another predicted.
‘Henry’s a Tory and thinks anyone who doesn’t like the royal family should leave the country I already can’t stand him, pls get evicted quickly’, one added.
Many watchers feared trouble between Henry and fellow roommate Trish, who openly said in her VT that she is left-wing.
Introducing herself to cameras, the 33-year-old mum from Luton said: ‘I am originally from Congo, I was born in Kinshasa.

‘I came to England when I was nine years old, my father came to get me. When we first got to Europe, I was so shocked to see a lot of white people.’
She added: ‘I am very, very left-wing, I am a massive feminist, I hate the Tories, and I was an immigrant. I think, overall, I’m amazing.’
Basically, Trish and Henry are total opposites.
Predicting a clash of personalities, one BB viewer tweeted: ‘Oh girls we’re going to get fireworks’.

‘”It’s Day 12 in the Big Brother house, and Trish has just murdered Henry in the hot tub”,’ another mocked.
‘trish im ready for you to drag henry’, another said.
Well, these housemates have to talk politics sooner or later, right?
Big Brother airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
