Fans of Big Brother are lobbying to oust Tom after his ‘disgusting’ rant at fan favourite Yinrun.
On Monday’s episode, the remaining eight housemates had to nominate face-to-face for the first time.
They were informed that the three most nominated housemates would be up for eviction, but Big Brother did not immediately give them the entire truth.
Jenkin and Jordan were the most nominated housemates, which immediately put them in the running for the axe.
However, because Tom and Olivia tied, the two housemates with the fewest nominations – Yinrun and Matty – had to make the ultimate choice.
They picked Tom after one minute of deliberation, with Yinrun, 25, breaking down in tears of shame.
After Yinrun acknowledged to feeling ‘uncomfortable’ around Tom when he made certain jokes, a choice was taken.
‘Our reasons are both different,’ Matty explained.
‘Please, I can’t do this,’ Yinrun sobbed.
As the pair expressed how much they were struggling to choose between their friends, Tom sighed: ‘Just say my name. It’s fine.’
‘You’ve just put me up and then stand in my face and cry about it?’, Tom then directed at Yinrun.
As Matty apologised, Tom reassured: ‘It’s fine, Matty, you didn’t choose. No change between us.’
Matty then stressed that it wasn’t entirely Yinrun’s decision, but Tom was having none of it, despite her obvious displeasure.
‘I don’t know why she’s f***ing crying, I’m sorry,’ he said. ‘I have no empathy right now for her.’
Big Brother then informed Tom, Jordan, and Jenkin that they were not only prospective evictees, but that they would be ousted immediately. They had 30 seconds to say their goodbyes in tragic moments.
Of course, it quickly became clear that the trio are actually hiding in a secret chamber, observing their other housemates’ every move, with the public voting to expel two of them, while the other will surprise everyone by returning to the house tomorrow.
But it didn’t stop Tom from harbouring a grudge against Yinrun, did it?
Tom had no time for Yinrun’s apology as he observed the aftermath of their phoney banishment through his headphones.
‘She’s f***ing buzzing, mate! We’ll see her in her bed tomorrow, jumping for joy,’ he mocked.
Proceeding to rip into Yinrun’s character, he also said: ‘I’m telling you, Yinrun will pretend she’s more naive than she is. She’s 25, she moved to another coutnry on her own, she’s very intelligent, she’s in her own practice, got a boyfriend, has lived her for two years… do you know what I mean?’
Jenkin then chimed in: ‘She’s not a child, but everyone treats her like one.’
After insisting he wanted to see how things ‘play out’, Jordan asked: ‘Do you think the childlike manner is put on?’
‘Sometimes, yeah,’ Jenkin stated.
BB supporters who were watching the programme at home tweeted their outrage at Tom’s statements and threatened to eliminate him in the public vote.
‘Tom talking about Yinrun like that … disgusting and can’t wait to see him booted out the house before the final’, one person tweeted.
Another mocked Tom’s reaction to Paul’s eviction, writing: ‘Tom getting vicious about Yinrun for getting upset when he practically knackered his tear ducts crying over some bloke from Liverpool’.
Nahhh Tom is cold… TRUST ME IVE BEEN THERE…. I UNDERSTAND why Yinrun is crying… it feels SO BAD to judge and decide someones fate… Tom is bitter #BBUK

I do think the housemates treat Yinrun like a child a lot but there’s a level of venom from Tom when he fumes about her that does NOT sit right with me at all. Get him out #BBUK

Tom can’t believe that Yinrun could be a genuinely kind person without any kind of ulterior motive, because that’s something he could never do himself #BBUK pic.twitter.com/zYX9YLRyK1

I wish that Yinrun could have just had the confidence to turn round to Tom like #BBUK pic.twitter.com/aTQWAEVvQi

‘Tom can’t believe that Yinrun could be a genuinely kind person without any kind of ulterior motive, because that’s something he could never do himself’, one blasted.
‘I’ve never voted to evict a housemate so FAST like I have with Tom’, one person said.
So, will the votes go in Yinrun’s favour, or will Tom be fired?
Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
