Britney Spears just snubbed her sister Jamie Lynn Spears?
The I’m A Celebrity… The Get Me Out of Here! cast for 2023.
Jamie joins Nigel Farage, Marvin Humes, Josie Gibson, Sam Thompson, and others in facing their worries for the nation’s entertainment.
Her signing has been contentious, to say the least, with Britney fans voicing their displeasure considering the pop star’s troubled history with Jamie Lynn.
And it appears Britney has her own method of expressing her displeasure.
Just minutes after the news of Jamie Lynn’s I’m A Celeb stint emerged, the Gimme More singer took to Instagram and wrote a very cryptic message.

‘All things genuinely terrible begin with innocence,’ Ernest Hemingway once remarked.
Brit didn’t elaborate more, simply captioning the photo with a pink flower emoji.
Fans, on the other hand, were quick to pick up on what they thought she was saying in the comments.
‘Your sister for example!! She’s about to go in the Jungle and us Brits are RUTHLESS.. we’ve got your back hun,’ one fan commented.
‘Hi Brittany I hope you enjoy Jamie Lynn suffering on I’m A Celeb I’ll definitely be putting my votes on her to do EVERY bush tucker trail 😂😂❤️❤️ [sic]’, another penned.
Despite the outpouring of worry from her millions of fans, Britney appears to be in good spirits.
She released one of her famous dance videos, which she videotaped herself spinning about in the living room, before the enigmatic message.
She later erased the video, however.
It’s no secret that Britney and Jamie Lynn’s relationship isn’t as tight as it once was.

Britney, now 41, was placed under her notorious conservatorship in 2008, with Jamie Lynn earlier attacking paparazzi and appearing to be on her sister’s side.
Things became nasty, though, in 2020, when she reportedly wanted more control over her sister’s riches and filed a court motion for all the assets of Britney’s SJB Revocable Trust to be placed into one or more ‘blocked accounts’.
The next year, at her conservatorship hearing, Britney described an abusive relationship with her father and stated that she would ‘want to sue my family,’ although she did not name any of her relatives specifically.
Jamie Lynn subsequently stated that she was ‘proud’ of Britney for ‘using her voice’.
‘Since the day I was born, I’ve only loved, adored, and supported my sister,’ she said.
However, in July 2021, the tables turned when Britney called out ‘the people closest to you who never showed up for you’ after her efforts to end the conservatorship had a win in court.
Britney later stated that her family’should all be in jail’ for allowing the conservatorship to last so long.
Jamie Lynn went on to deny any involvement in Britney’s conservatorship while expressing her love on national television once more.
That same month, Britney criticised her sister for attempting to ‘sell a book at my expense’ after Jamie Lynn revealed her biography Things I Should Have Said.
Jamie Lynn, of course, hit back: ‘I hate to burst my sister’s bubble, but my book is not about her. I can’t help that I was born a Spears too, and that some of my experiences involve my sister. I’ve worked hard since before I was even a teenager, and I’ve built my career in spite of just being someone’s little sister.’
The two have had several public squabbles over the years.
Jamie Lynn did not attend Britney and Sam Asghari’s wedding.
This year, the sisters looked to be reconciling when Britney said she paid Jamie Lynn a visit on the set of the Zoey 102 revival in June.
Britney, on the other hand, talked about her rocky relationship with Jamie Lynn in her best-selling memoir The Woman In Me last month.
She penned: ‘My sister and I should have found comfort in each other, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case.
‘As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalising on it.
‘She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous. I was really let down.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 kicks off on November 19 on ITV1 and ITVX.
