A new cast of housemates from across the country and all walks of life will be homed in a brand new Big Brother house, with the eyes of the nation on them across the six weeks.
A source revealed: ‘ITV knows that it’s not just the main show that gets fans talking, and the spin-off for Big Brother has always been a favourite for viewers.
‘It’s been the spring- board for some huge careers over the years, and its irreverent content and style makes for great telly.
‘It’s early days but with the comeback of the main show, all things look positive for Big Brother’s sister to return too. What it will be called remains to be seen, but expect carnage,’ the insider added to The Sun.
Big Brother initially ran from 2000 to 2010 on Channel 4, and saw presenters Davina McCall and Rylan before its move to Channel 5 until 2018 where it was presented by series two champion Brian and later Emma Willis.
Big Brother’s Little Brother was first hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Natalie Casey during the second series of Big Brother in 2002.
The X Factor host Dermot left in 2008 and was replaced by George Lamb and Emma Willis.
The spin-off series, which was later renamed Big Brother’s Big Mouth, included a host of different presenters from Russell Brand, James Corden, Jack Whitehall and Davina McCall.
The final spin-off, before the series got the axe in 2018, was presented by Alice Levine, Jamie East, Emma, AJ Odudu and Rylan Clark.
