Despite some dramatic physical changes, a guy who goes by the term ‘black alien’ insists his transition into the creature he wishes to be is only 46% complete.
Anthony Loffredo, a Frenchman, has received international attention for his radical bodily alterations, which have included tattooed eyes and a green forked tongue.
As if that wasn’t alarming enough, he’s also had his nose, his ears, and two fingers severed in order to get his “ideal appearance.”
Anthony’s genuine background is being examined in a new Channel 4 documentary, after he has amassed over one million Instagram followers.
Anthony posts before and after images and documents his progress on social media, but his most daring treatment is yet to come: amputating one of his legs and replacing it with a robotic one.
A teaser for the upcoming documentary sees filmmaker Arthur Bruel describe Anthony’s body, saying that he’s had his ‘nose, both ears, and two fingers amputated to achieve his dream look.’
Anthony is portrayed in terrifying photographs, with his nostrils cut right down to his face, no ears, a totally tattooed face, and pimples protruding from the back of his skull.
Arthur continues: ‘Not to mention, his face and arm implants, green forked tongue, inked eyeballs, body covered in tattoos, and he still wants to remove a leg.’
The video then changes to Arthur conversing to the so-called ‘Black Alien,’ who admits to being a’very sexy person’ before his metamorphosis.
When questioned why he changed, he responds, “It’s not my body.” ‘This is my genuine body.’
The video also sheds insight on the emotional and psychological reasoning behind his body choices, with him admitting that his former physique did not make him happy “deep down.”
Anthony has now had so many procedures he has lost count, as images show his face being tattooed.
But, his transformation isn’t even halfway there yet, as he claims to only be 46% complete.
In The Black Alien Project, which is now available to stream on the Channel 4 Docs YouTube channel, Arthur obtains unprecedented access to Anthony’s personal life and the people behind his transformative procedures.
He tracks Anthony down in Mexico and, despite never even having had a tattoo himself, Arthur cultivates an unlikely friendship with the enigmatic Frenchman.
Filmmaker Arthur said: “When I first got in touch with Anthony to see if he’d be interested in talking with me about his extraordinary life, I could never have imagined that I’d end up travelling to Mexico, spending so much time with him, and forming a remarkable bond that gave me an eye-opening insight into why Anthony and others modify their bodies to such a striking extent.
“This documentary raises questions about the ethics of plastic surgery and its impact on our society, and also explores the importance of self-acceptance and the right to self-determination.
‘But in the main, it tells the true, unfiltered story – not of a “black alien” – but of Anthony Loffredo, the real human being behind the headlines.’
