If the sad Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season two teaser is any indication, Tom Sandoval’s romance with Raquel Leviss is definitely weighing heavily on his mind.
The discovery of their secret seven-month affair shocked Vanderpump Rules watchers earlier this year, bringing his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix to an end.
In the first trailer for Fox’s forthcoming Special Forces series, which premieres on September 25th, the 40-year-old opens up about his adultery.
‘The entire nation is pissed with me,’ he claimed of the ‘Scandoval’ reaction. ‘I had an affair and I’m ready to take a pounding,’ she says.
‘The whole country is p***ed off at me,’ he said of the ‘Scandoval’ reaction. ‘I had an affair and I want to take a beating.’
In other clip, he says he wants to “get punished” for his abuse of Ariana.
Tom is joined in the gruelling task by a star-studded ensemble that includes JoJo Siwa, Blac Chyna, and Tara Reid.
They will be joined by Jack Osbourne, Brian Austin Green from Desperate Housewives and Beverly Hills 90210, Kelly Rizzo, Bachelor alums Tyler Cameron and Nick Viall, and Savannah Chrisley from Chrisley Knows Best.
The sportsmen competing include NBA legend Robert Horry, NFL sensation Dez Bryant, and Olympians Erin Jackson and Bodie Miller.
Former special-forces personnel Mark Billingham, Rudy Reyes, Jovon Quarles, and Jason Fox will put the group through its paces.
According to the violent teaser, which finished with the slogan, ‘There is no reward, only pride,’ the gang is in for a rough challenge.
‘FOX’s ultimate celebrity social experiment, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, returns for a second season, enlisting a troop of household names to endure some of the harshest, most gruelling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process,’ according to the official synopsis.
‘This time around, the recruits will be faced with the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand where the terrain and freezing temperatures are brutal and the tasks will feel like torture.
‘They will face the ice breaker drill where they will be submerged in a frozen lake to find their body temperature plummeting to near hypothermic levels. They will attempt a treacherous ravine crossing atop a 4700ft snowcapped mountain peak as well as an emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.
‘There are no votes, and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” – and no glam.
‘In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the DS. Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test is the ultimate test of physical, mental and emotional resilience – revealing these celebrities’ deepest and truest character. Who will quit, who will survive?’
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test premieres on Fox on September 25.
