Britney Spears appears to have targeted Jamie Lynn Spears after she remarked on their ‘fights’ on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The music idols’ younger sister previously drew outrage for agreeing to participate in the long-running reality show, which is now filming in Australia.
Many people were outraged when the Zoey 101 star was cast since Britney had previously accused her of not supporting her during her 13-year conservatorship.
Britney, 41, has frequently slammed her sister, 32, in public over the years.
She seemed to have chastised her sister once more for discussing family affairs in front of the cameras.
Jamie Lynn told Sam Thompson over the weekend that she “loved” her sister but had learned to “stop talking” about their arguments in public since “families fight.”
Then, on Monday evening, Britney posted a statement on Instagram about how “ladies do not start fights…but they can finish them.”
The video featured a white cat chatting to a tiny kitten in a scene from the 1970 film The Aristocats.
The cat said: ‘Ladies do not start fights, but they can finish them.’
In response the kitten exclaims: ‘Well, she started it.’

During the presentation, Sam questioned Jamie Lynn if her elder sister was worried about her plan to participate in the jungle.
‘I can imagine she’d be worried about me out here. I think she’s probably checking in on me heavily,’ she responded.
‘I do think she’s probably like, “Why would she do that?” She asked me that before I came here, she was like, “You’re really going to do it?” I was like, “I’m going to go to Australia and check it out”.’
Going on to call Britney a ‘good big sister’, she also addressed their complicated relationship.
‘I love her,’ she continued.
‘Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, families fight. Listen, we just do it better than most.’
Britney revealed information of their relationship in her biography, The Woman In Me, last month.
She wrote: ‘My sister and I should have found comfort in each other, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case.
‘As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalising on it.
‘She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous.’
Britney added that she felt ‘really let down’.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
