While speaking alone with Tommy’s wife Maria, Ellie finds out that not only did Joel have a daughter called Sarah, but that she died on outbreak day.

Furthermore, she overhears Joel telling Tommy that he no longer thinks he should be Ellie’s friend, and she confronts him angrily about his apparent wish to forsake her.
Fans have hailed Pedro and Bella for delivering one of the’most dramatic sequences ever’ with their showdown, which was practically word-for-word adapted from the video game.
Nonetheless, when Ellie is about to go on the next leg of her trek to the Fireflies, Joel announces that he has changed his mind and would still accompany her.
So they saddle up and ride away, while Tommy assures them that they will always be welcome in his village.
Is Joel gravely hurt? Fight with attackers leaves him in a sorry state
Joel and Ellie go to Colorado after leaving Tommy and Maria’s house, where they discover what looks to be an old Firefly base… However, the members of the revolutionary organisation appear to have gone.

Joel and Ellie attempt to flee the desolate base after discovering indications indicating the crew may have gone to a hospital in Utah, but are accosted by unknown intruders.
Joel kills one of the invaders, but not before the protagonist is stabbed.
Ellie is able to bring Tommy away on the horse, but he is badly wounded and may be battling for his life.
