The victors of Celebrity Race Across the World are Good Morning Britain weather presenter Alex Beresford and his father Noel.
Alex and Noel competed against other celebrities and their families across 6,200 miles across 24 countries in the reality television spin-off series.
Former All Saints singer Melanie Blatt and her mother, Helene; McFly drummer Harry Judd and his mother, Emma; and former British F4 Racing Driver Billy Monger and his sister, Bonny were among the other candidates.
However, when it came to the last checkpoint in Tromso, Norway, Alex and Noel were the first to arrive and secure the championship.
The duo were the first to arrive to Tromso’s Fjellheisen cable car Observation Deck, beating out the other two pairings.
Harry and Emma were only four minutes behind, taking second place, while Melanie and Helene were third.
The competitive father and son team were filled with joy after discovering they had arrived in Norway first position after opening the guest book.
Alex yelled, ‘yeah dad, we did it!’ as he jumped up and down, before having a teary embrace with Noel.
Alex claimed they felt like they were ‘on top of the world right now’ after their triumph, which saw them begin their adventure in Marrakesh.
Meanwhile his dad added: ‘It was something else. Alex kept saying to me, “come on dad, come on dad” and I said “I’m right behind you!”. He just kept pulling me along and it’s all worth it now!’

Reflecting on what they had achieved, Alex said it was the ‘toughest experience I’ve ever had’.
‘But we got to travel together, as men, and that isn’t something that every father and son get to do, and for me, that’s why this has been unforgettable and something that I will cherish for the rest of our lives,’ he added.
After narrowly missing out on the victory by a few minutes, Harry thanked the winners before declaring that he and his mother had given it their “all.”
‘We were so close, but we gave it our all. We left it all out there… It doesn’t matter about position. I’m so proud of mum, what she did was incredible,’ he said.
Emma then shared: ‘I said to Harry at the beginning of this race, “I’m not going to let you down son” and hopefully I didn’t!”
After arriving in third place, Mel and Helene said: ‘We finished, and that’s the most important thing. No regrets.’

Despite having never before reached a checkpoint in pole position, Alex and Noel began the last leg in the lead during the nail-biting finale.
Beginning at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate and travelling almost 2,000 km to the finish line in Tromsp, the father and son opted to go via Sweden, stopping in Stockholm to refill their decreasing money by shovelling snow at one of Sweden’s lakeside spas.
During his final work shift, Alex reminisced on his racing experience, saying it had enabled him to ‘let his hair down’ after never taking this much time off before.
He also addressed his notorious 2021 on-screen brawl with former GMB colleague Piers Morgan before of the triumph, saying it was a “shock to the system” and that being “at the centre of a media storm” had been “crazy.”
‘You suddenly become subject to lots of opinion from social media and you either fold or you stand up and grow a thick skin. It knocked me a little bit but I definitely feel stronger having gone through it,’ he shared.

After going from Sweden to Finland to achieve Alex’s boyhood ambition of visiting Lapland, they carried on to Norway, where they found themselves on the same bus as Harry and Emma from Narvik to Troms.
Meanwhile, Mel and Helene were speeding towards the Norwegian border, unknowing that their fellow teams had ended themselves neck and neck.
After a 233-kilometer trek over twisting roads, the two leading teams embarked on an epic foot race to the finish line, before each electing to utilise a bus and a passing automobile to expedite matters.
They had to take a cable car up to the Observation Deck once they arrived at The Arctic Cathedral, where they were met with the finish line.
