There are lots of dating shows that push the boundaries, but Channel 4 is planning to air a series in which individuals have sex on camera.
From people stripping down while courting on Naked Attraction to strangers marrying on its sister channel E4 Married at First Sight, the broadcaster is no stranger to producing unconventional dating series.
However, it is now reportedly going one step further by pushing people to have sex on video.
Instead of a hotel hook-up, participants will be given Bluetooth sex gadgets so they can be intimate with one other online.
If they connect, they can arrange to meet in person.
‘Channel 4 has aired some bizarre dating shows, but this will be the most outrageous,’ a source told The Sun.

‘They made a pilot towards the end of last year and the next phase is screen-testing it to audiences.
‘If it’s green lit, it is bound to cause controversy, but the series could also attract some big ratings.’
The show, currently titled Sex First as its working title, is reported to be based on the premise that great mates must first and foremost have sexual chemistry.
Thanks to Bluetooth-enabled sex gadgets, single individuals will be introduced to each other online as avatars before building up their chemistry with online sex.
Whether they enjoy their first sexual contact together and like what they experience, they can meet to see if the bond is equally as compatible in real life and decide whether to take it further and start dating.
The series, which will broadcast later this year, will definitely make viewers’ mouths drop as they watch it all happen from home.
