If there’s one thing Love Island viewers can all agree on, it’s that new host Maya Jama stole the show during Monday’s inaugural episode by striding into the villa in *that* black dress.
When the 28-year-old came to the villa on the first night, she shocked viewers and participants by revealing that bombshell Tom Clare was going to spice things up.
Maya’s stunning appearance, however, kept viewers’ attention away from the announcement.
The host wore a sexy black number with a high leg slit and cut out embellishments all over after wowing earlier in the day in a plunging green dress.
Maya made her debut on the ITV2 reality dating show, replacing Laura Whitmore, who announced her resignation in August.
The presenter’s great physique enraged fans, diverting their attention away from what was truly going on.

‘Maya Jama in THAT black dress is worth the TV license alone,’ one person wrote.
Another penned: ‘MAYA JAMA that black dress? Her strutting in? She was literally made for this.’
‘Stopppp Maya Jama as the Love Island host is so dangerous, jaw was on the floor when she came in with that black dress my godddddd,’ one viewer commented.
‘Maya Jama in that black dress is just not fair man. Those female contestants can not compete,’ someone else wrote.

This comes after Maya expressed her delight at landing the new hosting position.
Speaking to Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning, ahead of landing in South Africa for the winter series, Maya revealed: ‘A little while ago, and it was a no-brainer clearly because I am a great fan of the show.
‘I was like, “okay when does it start?” And then they were doing the winter one again, and I was like, “right so I’m coming back soon then.”

‘And it’s all a bit of a blur to be honest, but found out, said yes absolutely, and now I’m off to South Africa.’
Speaking about how she’s preparing for her new hosting gig, Maya continued: ‘I’m a massive fan, I’ve watched pretty much all of the series. I’ve tried not to do too much research because you want to still be yourself, don’t you.
‘You want to ask all the questions you want to know, but as a fan of the show, I feel like I’m going to approach it how I’ve screamed at the telly for years.’
She added: ‘I’m just going to be like, “Why did you kiss her and what happened then?!” But we’ll see.’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
