Christine Quinn is reportedly not returning to Selling Sunset after making a ‘mutual decision’ with Netflix.
The show favourite, 33, was right at the centre of all the drama in season five, after being involved in spats with cast members such as Emma Hernan, 29 and Mary Fitzgerald, 41.
This all culminated in an explosive season finale which saw Christine hit with the shocking claim that she was trying to bribe a client of Emma Hernan to not work with her.
Shortly after, she revealed that she and husband Christian Richard have set up their own business together, announcing the news with cryptic comments about being your own boss.
Now, according to TMZ, Christine won’t feature in season six or seven of the Netflix hit series, which have recently begun filming in LA.
The outlet reports that a ‘mutual decision’ was made between Christine, Netflix and the production company.
It’s also thought that Christine has recently signed up to IMG Models, and is already taking on jobs and making industry appearances.
TMZ also quizzed Emma on the rumours outside The Oppenheim Group HQ, to which she replied: ‘I heard about that … we’ll see what happens.’
When asked whether she thought news of Christine’s supposed exit from the show, Emma didn’t seem too concerned, though.
She added to the outlet: ‘I think the show does very, very well – we have a lot of amazing people.’
It comes after Christine previously reassured fans that she’ll be back but she would have to be ‘creative’ about her comeback.
Following the explosive season five reunion, real estate broker Jason Oppenheim confirmed that the 33-year-old no longer ‘has a place’ at the company, after she also failed to turn up.
Christine’s reps said at the time that she had contracted Covid, but she was pictured lounging about on a sun lounger just a couple of days later.
The reality star favourite spoke out on her future at the brokerage earlier this year, after her photo and bio were removed from the website following the finale.
‘I terminated my contract when the brokerage launched,’ she explained.
‘I had to make a business decision that was for me, so I had to terminate the contract so I could move it over to my brokerage.’
Selling Sunset seasons 1-5 can be streamed in full on Netflix now.
