Shania Twain is still the one for us, having won us back with her appearance on ITV’s Starstruck.
In season 2, the country music legend replaced Sheridan Smith on the panel, which also included Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, and Jason Manford.
The Stars In Their Eyes-style transformation show, hosted by Olly Murs, encourages everyday people to dress up and perform one of their favourite songs as their stars for one night only.
The opening episode of the show’s second season included Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Sir Tom Jones, and Chaka Khan, however it was team Sam Smith that emerged victorious and proceeded to the next final.
Shania was a major hit with fans in her first appearance as a judge, with viewers at home praising her for bringing the party to Saturday night television.
‘Shania on #starstruck my heart is happy’, one fan tweeted.

‘Lovely to see my amazing queen @ShaniaTwain on #starstruck’, wrote another.
Another praised: ‘I don’t understand how this lady hasn’t been a judge on more talent shows? She’s one of the best singers in the world.’
After watching the Giddy Up! hitmaker clapping her way through the show, screaming with excitement and giving contestants a standing ovation, another Twitter user penned: ‘@ShaniaTwain is living her best life on #Starstruck and I love to see it!’
However, considering the wacky nature of the show and how, truly, anything goes, some were afraid that Shania could be left wondering what she signed up for as the episodes progressed.
‘Shania Twain has no idea what is going on here & neither do I’, tweeted one bewildered viewer.

‘I wonder if one of the teams will do shania Twain and they all look nothing like her but she still has to compliment’, asked another.
Shania has once again shown herself Queen of the UK’s hearts in recent weeks, with her latest release, Queen Of Me, landing another number one album.
The Man is proving to us that she still has it! Following a close competition with singer-songwriter Raye’s first album My 21st Century Blues, the I Feel Like A Woman songstress topped the charts for the third time.
Queen Of Me, the 57-year-sixth old’s studio album, allowing her to solidify her position as one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
‘I hope you love the album and that it cheers you up; that’s the idea. It’s my happy album. I look forward to seeing you all out on tour. Thank you,’ she said of her success.
Starstruck continues Saturday on ITV1.
