According to reports, I’m A Celebrity is looking for a major politician to join the show this year.
It will only be a matter of weeks until the popular reality show returns, with a bunch of celebrities being thrown into the Australian jungle.
While the actual cast of 2023 has yet to be released, former Ukip leader Nigel Farage, who has previously been invited to appear, might make his debut.

An insider shared: ‘Nigel has been at the top of the wish-list for I’m A Celeb bosses for years.’
The source added to The Sun: ‘They’ve offered him a huge fee as they know he’ll drive up viewing figures. Ant and Dec will love this signing.
The possible agreement is said to be valued up to £1 million and is being discussed with Georgia Toffolo’s talent agency, The Visionary Talent Agency.
Speaking on his GB News show last year, Farage said: ‘I have been approached several times by I’m a Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here! and I’ve always ruled it out.
‘I’ve never thought it would be a good thing to do.’
Farage would not be the first MP to face a Bushtucker trial, with former Conservative Party member Edwina Currie and ex-health secretary Matt Hancock both having been sent to the jungle for a televised humiliation.
The current MP made his debut on the series with comedian Seann Walsh, who resigned as Health Secretary in 2021 after being found having an affair with an assistant Gina Coladangelo.

However, his entrance was welcomed with widespread criticism from fans and other campmates, who questioned the politician’s motivations for participating in the series.
Lioness icon Jill Scott was named Queen of the Jungle after winning last year’s series.
Katie Price‘s ex Danny Cipriani, The Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner, Denise Van Outen, and This Morning babe Josie Gibson, according to insiders, are all expected to appear on the forthcoming season.
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec just offered us a sneak peek at the final Saturday Night Takeaway before taking a break.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns this autumn on ITV1 and ITVX.
