Since Ekin-Su Cülcülolu stated that her father has really applied for the middle-aged spin-off of Love Island, it appears that the desire to find romance on the show may run in the family of Ekin-Su Cülcülolu as well.
Ekin-Su and her lover Davide Sanclimenti triumphed in a competition hosted by ITV2 throughout the summer of 2016, taking home a prize of fifty thousand pounds and seeing their relationship blossom from strength to strength in the months that followed.
While the Dancing on Ice star is head over heels in love with her Italian beau, the Dancing on Ice star’s father Zekai Cülcülolu is reportedly on the lookout for love and has even registered for the newly-announced The Romance Retreat.
After much rumour and conjecture, it was finally confirmed in January that production on a dating reality programme oriented specifically toward single parents was getting under way.
‘ITV1 are searching for energetic single parents from throughout the UK who are in quest of love, for a fresh new dating show!’ stated the casting call.
‘This is the ONLY dating show where single parents can search for love, by spending time in a luxury retreat, where all the parents have been nominated by their grown up children.’

Ekin-Su, who is now 28 years old and has confessed that her father has “applied already” in a new interview with Reddit,
In light of the fact that she had previously participated in the villa, she continued by saying, “I’m preparing him, he’s a single man, and he needs to get out there, you know.”
She made this statement while referring to her own relationship with Davide and speculating that her father “may meet an Italian woman.”
When asked for the piece of advice that she’d given him in the past, she recalled saying, “My advice was to be yourself, don’t burp, and put some perfume on.”
Ekin-Su isn’t the only former islander who’s put her parent forward for The Romance Retreat, with Tasha Ghouri also urging her own dad to submit an application.
‘Dad this is your moment to shine… The entertainment joker king x,’ she previously tweeted.
The professional figure skater Brendyn Hatfield is Ekin-partner Su’s in this season’s Dancing on Ice competition, which she is presently taking part in.
Following her routine on the rink that was inspired by the movie Toxic, 112 people called Ofcom to complain about the sparkly leotard that she wore during the routine.
Hitting back at the complaints, she told The Sun: ‘You know what? If you have ’em flaunt them.
‘I mean if you’ve got a nice bum and you look sexy in a unitard, why not. Who cares?’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
