Ruchee Gurung of Love Island is already making a stir within the island, but her new disclosure about a split has left fans perplexed.
The 24-year-old beauty queen stated that she’s only been single for four months, and some admirers are attempting to figure out when she auditioned for the programme.
Some members of the Love Island Twitter community believe she may have been filling out the applications while still with her ex-partner.
One spectator reached conclusions sooner than the lads generally do with Casa Amor bombshells.
She wrote: ‘Single 4 months means you wrote your love island application in the relationship.’
The tweet was retweeted over 1000 times, indicating that many people agreed with her.
She later added ‘Her ex deffo text her safe flight’ and ‘She deffo got him to take her headshots as well.’
The comment section was filled with responses including one person who wrote: ‘Girlie was probs on a date hitting send.’
While Ruchee also got support for her decision to put herself out there so quickly – ‘I love how this girl has been single for 4 months, she knows what she wants.’
Ruchee did admit in her entrance video that she was ‘a relationship kind of girl’ so probably doesn’t see the merit in hanging around. Beats redownloading Hinge, we guess!
Another person insisted she got scouted, rather than pursuing the application process herself – ‘No she was recruited 100% I don’t think many actually apply they have people scouting on insta for carbon copies of people.’

There is no formal application deadline, so she might have been a late entrant who was rushed through the procedure. In fact, if you consider yourself as a bombshell or Casa Amor tempter, you can still complete up an application form right now. Just remember to break up with your lover first!
Ruchee is currently married to Mehdi Edno, as decided by the people in the first ballot. She was dissatisfied with her match and started flirting with bombshell Zachariah Noble. He chose Catherine Agbaje, breaking off her romance with André Furtado.
