Phillip Schofield and Katie Price are among the celebrities expected to return to Celebrity Big Brother in 2024.
After seven years off the air, ITV said in November that the celebrity spin-off will return to its main channel ITV1 next year.
The relaunch follows the triumphant comeback of the original programme, Big Brother, which attracted millions of viewers for the first time in more than a decade.
While specifics are being kept under wraps, speculation is rife about who may be entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Rylan Clark, Spencer Pratt, Kerry Katona, Shilpa Shetty, Les Dennis, and even Michael Barrymore have been in the celebrity version throughout the years.
Let’s take a peek at the speculated Celebrity Big Brother 2024 cast.
Katie Price
Katie Price, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2015, has hinted at a comeback to the show.
After entering the house as a latecomer on day 10, the OnlyFans star, 45, triumphed over runners-up Katie Hopkins and Calum Best.
The former beauty model had tongues buzzing when she sent a mysterious statement on Instagram immediately after ITV unveiled the Celebrity Big Brother relaunch.
Katie shared the official announcement on Instagram with multiple eye emojis.
Rebekah Vardy
It’s………..Rebekah Vardy. Or it may be if ITV producers get their way, who are apparently anxious for her to sign on the dotted line.
The Wag, 41, is thought to be at the top of the wish list, with expectations that she may reveal more about Coleen Rooney and the infamous Wagatha Christie case.
A source told The Sun: ‘Bosses know she’ll be perfect fodder for the show and that she won’t hold back on saying what she thinks.’
Rebekah also has experience with reality television, having competed on I’m A Celebrity in 2017 and Dancing On Ice in 2021.
Phillip Schofield
Phillip Schofield stood aside from his TV projects earlier this year after confessing to lying about an affair with a This Morning runner, but ITV is apparently interested in bringing him back for Celeb Big Brother.
‘Celebrity Big Brother is returning, and ITV wants major names to launch it off,’ a source told The Sun.
‘CBB is the perfect place for stars who are riding off the wave of a scandal, or something big happening in their lives.
‘Phillip Schofield is someone they’re going to approach.’
Joey Essex
If producers have their way, Joey Essex might be switching Dubai for the Celebrity Big Brother house.
They are apparently aiming to cast the reality personality, 33, after earlier attempts on Channel 5 failed.
A source told The Sun: ‘Joey is hugely popular with the top brass at ITV and they think he would be TV gold on Celeb Big Brother.
‘He’s hilarious, very likeable, and likely to become one of the favourites to win.’
Linda Robson
Linda Robson, after Coleen Nolan and Denise Welch, might be the next Loose Women star to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Take it from the 65-year-old actress, who told the Daily Star that she ‘would be up for’ being on the reality programme.
She said: ‘I would be up for it. I like getting away from the house. I don’t like being stuck in so anything to get me out of the house, any holidays.
‘As I’m getting older, I’m 65 now, I don’t want to say no to anything and try different things now.’
Jennifer Arcuri
ITV is reportedly looking for at ‘least one or maybe two big names to set the series alight’ and are said to believe Jennifer Arcuri, 38, could be the answer.
The 38-year-old American entrepreneur said she had a ‘intimate’ four-year romance with Boris Johnson while he was Mayor of London.
Between 2012 and 2016, Arcuri said she was in a relationship with the former prime minister, when he was married to his ex-wife and lawyer Marina Wheeler, with whom he had two kids and two daughters.
A source told The Sun: ‘[Producers will approach] people like Jennifer Arcuri, who had an alleged fling with Boris.
‘They have a lot of cash to splash, just under £2million.’
Celebrity Big Brother comes to ITV and ITVX in 2024.
