Gemma Atkinson just had her second child, a male, with her fiancé Gorka Márquez and their daughter Mia, making the pair a family of four.
However, in the hours following, it has been rumoured that the former Hollyoaks star has signed up for a fresh new ITV maternity reality series.
The Real Motherland, a TV programme set to debut on ITVBe and the streaming platform ITVX, would purportedly follow a group of famous pals, offering an insight into their personal lives and occupations behind the scenes.
Other participants are rumoured to include Brooke Vincent from Coronation Street, Jennifer Metcalfe from Hollyoaks, Roxy Shahidi from Emmerdale, and soap star Amy Walsh.
A source told The Sun: ‘We are so used to seeing celebrity mums on our screens, with a whole host of reality series about parenthood – but this new venture will show a very different side to motherhood.
‘There’s nothing glamorous to see here – just the highs and lows of a group of real women, juggling their careers, kids and home life in a unique look behind closed doors.’

The insider added that the timing ‘could not have been more perfect’ for Gemma after she gave birth to her son, as ‘the struggles of this huge transition in her life will all be captured on camera’.
The series is expected to begin production soon, with further names of celebrities participating still to be announced.
Gemma, 38, and Gorka, 32, announced the birth of their son on Wednesday July 19, with a message on Instagram that read: ‘Little man is here! He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful. Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be.

‘We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week.
‘Thank you for all the lovely well wishes. Our family is complete.’
Gemma also followed up by expressing her gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for her, writing: ‘And a massive massive thank you to the maternity unit at the Royal Bolton Hospital. You are all angels.
‘We honestly could have asked for better care from you all. Just as you were with Mia, your care and expertise was wonderful. Thank you.’
