Favourite Gogglebox videos During the newest episode of the Channel 4 show, Joe Kyle and his girlfriend Roisin Kelly watched a portion of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Coronation.
Their participation in the popular show involves them to watch a variety of shows and debate various elements of what they are watching.
During the most recent episode, they were watching a royal event, when Joe promptly expressed his feelings towards the king.
Joe turned to Roisin and asked: ‘I’ve been practising my allegiance, do you want to hear it?’
He soon starts singing out the lyrics: ‘You can stick your Coronation up your a**e.’
The 26-year-old then exclaims: ‘What f*****g century are we in?!’
Gogglebox viewers reacted to Scottish Joe’s statements on social media.
One person felt he represented Scotland well: ‘My highlights of the #Gogglebox cast’s take on the #Coronation Joe representing Glasgow, most of Scot.’
‘Joe the only one with common sense,’ remarked another. A third person added: ‘Joe has gone up in my books’

Others, though, were dissatisfied with his point of view and the show’s editing.
‘The anti-monarchy & laziness of #Gogglebox editing/directing this week was such a shame. The most magnificent event of the year, HM King’s Coronation, had primarily anti-royal commentary from the Goggleboxers. Unreflective of the population at large & a clear editorial line,’ one viewer passionately stated.
They weren’t the only one who felt that way: ‘Love #gogglebox but found the comments regarding the Coronation quite one-sided, personal, and disrespectful. A bit of balance would have been better.’

Joe and Roisin, both 24, started the programme last year and each week invite fans into the Glasgowian lounge to share their ideas.
Roisin’s podcast Nags and Brags is also available for listeners.
Gogglebox continues Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
