Ellie Warner of Gogglebox has opened out about her home delivery after having her first child.
Ellie, 32, has appeared on the show with her sister Izzi since 2015.
Following her pregnancy announcement on an episode of the programme late last year, the Leeds-based hairdresser welcomed her infant son Ezra on last week’s episode as well.
She’s now shared a photo of herself giving delivery at home.
The snapshot showed Ellie in a pool seconds after birthing Ezra, cradling her kid and staring into his eyes while her partner Nat Eddleston smiled.
‘International home birth day 💖Was literally the best day of my life 😊,’ she captioned the post.
When introducing her child on television, she was seen cradling him in the early seconds of the show before passing him off to Izzi.
Ellie turned to social media shortly after the episode premiered to share a first photo of her kid with fans and disclose his name.
She captioned a snapshot of the infant asleep and covered in a blanket, ‘Sweet baby Ezra. He has made our lives complete. We love you so much son.’
She also shared details of a journey they took out of the house, with her kid strapped to her in a leopard print baby carrier, in the days after.
She wrote in the caption: ‘Took the stretchy wrap for a test drive.’
Last year Ellie showed her sister a photo of her ultrasound scan on screen, saying that: ‘I went for a scan on Saturday. That’s the picture.’
She also joked her unborn child looked ‘like a jellied alien’.
Izzi’s children Bessie and Bobby were present as the sisters revealed the gender of her newborn on TV.
‘Are you delighted that you’re going to have a male cousin, Bobby?’ Ellie said during a lovely moment.
Ellie’s first kid with Nat was left battling for his life after a car accident last year, causing her to take a hiatus from the programme.
Gogglebox airs Fridays from 9pm on Channel 4.
