Behind the scenes of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, there are some concerns one of the cast members might be preparing to leave the programme entirely.
The ITV1 competition has resumed in less than 24 hours, with cast members including politician Nigel Farage, YouTube sensation Nella Rose, and restaurant critic Grace Dent adjusting to their new camp life in Australia.
Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney Spears‘ younger sister, was thrown in at the deep end right away, skydiving and getting coated in green ants on her first day. What a warm greeting!
While it is reported that the 32-year-old loved the jump and getting to know her fellow campmates – who she found to be kind even though she didn’t know who everyone was – it appears she is struggling with her new surroundings.
According to a source, there are concerns that the Zoey 101 star may be a ‘flight risk’ after allegedly isolating herself at camp and remaining in bed yesterday morning.
They told The Sun that ‘away from the cameras and scenes that aired on TV, it’s her behaviour in camp that has become obvious to crew’.
‘She has kept herself somewhat separate, not really socialising — and stayed in bed,’ they continued.
‘It looked like she is really missing her family and, of course, unlike the other celebs, who are all from the UK and mostly know – or know of – each other, Jamie Lynn didn’t have immediate connections like that.’
Despite the allegations, Jamie Lynn was reported to have made a point of telling the other campmates how’very wonderful and extremely kind’ they were to her.
According to earlier reports, the renowned faces in the line-up must stay in the camp for at least 72 hours in order to get their entire salary for starring on I’m A Celebrity.
This reported regulation came to light in 2014, when Gemma Collins claimed that she only earned a fraction of her initial compensation when she resigned after three days.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star announced that she would give the £4,800 she did get to Save The Children.
‘The show is three weeks long and Gemma was in Australia for five days, therefore she will receive a percentage based on that,’ her spokesperson said at the time.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
