I’m a Star…I Need to Get Out of Here! After Marvin Humes was removed, fans thought the game was rigged.
The five remaining campmates were reunited with their loved ones during surprise visits on the most recent episode of the reality series.
Many others broke down in tears when they saw their family and friends, including Marvin, who was met by his wife Rochelle, who didn’t hold back and made sure to alert him to the fact that he smelt a little strange.
He will be taking a decent shower shortly after spending 21 days in the jungle after becoming the latest celebrity face to be sent packing.
He told hosts Ant and Dec that I’m A Celebrity was ‘the finest show on TV’ and that he ‘couldn’t believe’ he’d gotten this far.
However, the JLS performer stated that he was prepared to depart.
‘Seeing Rochelle in camp was the most amazing feeling ever, so to leave today is perfect,’ he said.
But when it came down to the judgement, many of those watching at home were furious.
Because a contentious former politician made it through yet again, many accused the show of being rigged.
‘This has to be the most fixed season of I’m A Celeb,’ Lauren Harris posted on X, formerly Twitter.
‘ITV have paid £1.5 million for Nigel Farage. They’ll want their monies worth. Reality shows are always fixed and manipulated to what the producers want,’ Gary Wilson added.
Holly Taylor added: ‘It must be fixed because all I see is 100s of people saying why is Nigel still in over Marvin… who’s voting for him??? So, it must be fixed.’
Many others expressed surprise that Nigel was still in the running despite a lack of strong public support for him.
Even Nigel seemed surprised when assured he was safe, leaning back in surprise.
Viewers were outraged again this episode when he grabbed Josie Gibson by the face during an argument about who should be permitted to participate in a trial.
Nigel tried to stop her from raising her hand and then put his hands on her face while attempting to calm her down, which enraged many others.
Some called it incredibly ‘patronising’ while others praised her for ‘keeping cool’.
The other remaining celebrities in the competition are This Morning presenter Josie, Made in Chelsea’s Josie Gibson and former boxer Tony Bellew.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! continues tomorrow at 9.30pm on ITV1.
