I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star Scarlette Douglas expressed her desire to make her mark in the music industry following her jungle stint.
The A Place In The Sun host, 35, was the second celebrity eliminated from this year’s series and it looks like she has caught the reality TV bug.
As well as fronting the hit Channel 4 property series, Scarlette has also featured on the home makeover show Love It Or List It and has appeared on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine as a guest presenter.
But the star hopes to steer away from ‘property development,’ in pursuit of something else.
Addressing a possible career in music due to her performance background, she said: ‘I’d like to. As long as people would take me seriously, I’d make sure I made good music’.
‘I’ve come from a musical background and I’ve always sung and danced. Maybe I’ll release an EP,’ she added to The Sun.
Scarlette recently told us that she’s hoping to make moves in her dating life, and she’s already got someone in mind.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk on the MOBO Awards red carpet the TV star revealed: ‘I went in there like, “Baba, you don’t know me but I know you and I need you to set me up with Mo [Gilligan], OK”.
‘He’s like I’ll see what I can do when I get out so, if you’re listening Baba, I need that.’
While Scarlette and her fellow I’m A Celebrity co-stars remain close, the TV personality shared that sitting MP Matt Hancock is yet to be added to the WhatsApp group chat.
Speaking at the UK premiere of Will Smith’s upcoming film Emancipation last week, she told PA: ‘We’ve all said when we can, because we’re all over the country, we’ll get together and have a meal for Owen because he loves food.’
Asked if Hancock would be joining the fun, she replied: ‘I don’t know.
‘I’m not the admin of that WhatsApp group so if Mike wants to invite him he absolutely can, but it’s not me to put the invitation out so we’ll see what happens.
‘He might be busy you never know, he’s doing a lot of stuff, he’s got a lot of press coming up so he might be too busy.’
