It’s been days since Jamie Lynn Spears quit I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023, but she’s already back on her home turf on the TV show she was axed from weeks prior.
It was recently announced that Britney Spears‘ younger sister has withdrew from the ITV series due to medical reasons, much as MasterChef’s Grace Dent had done.
The 32-year-old has recently been making the rounds on the reality TV circuit, having been one of the contenders on the current season of Dancing With The Stars in the United States, which is still airing.
Jamie Lynn and her professional dance partner, Alan Bersten, were the second couple sent home from the competition on October 3.
A month and a half later, she was on her way to Australia to begin her life in the bush, replete with gruelling Bushtucker Trials and meagre food in camp.
Days after leaving I’m A Celeb, the Zoey 101 star was spotted returning to the set of Dancing With The Stars ahead of the show’s big finale.
There are now five celebrities in contention for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, named after the late Strictly Come Dancing judge, who died in April at the age of 78.
Marvel actress Xochitl Gomez, How I Met Your Mother actor Alyson Hannigan, The Bachelorette’s Charity Lawson, Vanderpump Rules cast member Ariana Madix, and musician Jason Mraz are among the finalists.
Jamie Lynn was reunited with her lover Alan and joined fellow cast members on set as the finale was slated to air on Tuesday, December 5 on ABC in the United States.
The show’s stars indicated that there will be lots of goodies and surprises in store for the last episode of the season, so it’s unclear whether she’ll be dancing again.
However, films and photographs taken of her during her visit showed her hair with a pin in the front, hinting that it was a possibility.
On her own Instagram, she expressed her delight over being reunited with Alan, saying on her Story that she ‘took the first flight as soon as I was medically cleared’ so she could head back to Dancing With The Stars.
Sharing the clip of her embracing Alan, she added: ‘Still not 100% but I had to show up for my guy.’
Jamie Lynn appeared earlier this year in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, an adaption of the UK’s SAS: Who Dares Wins.
She willingly left the show after the third episode.
I’m A Celebrity returns tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
