During a difficult Latin night, Jamie Lynn Spears became the second participant to be removed from Dancing With The Stars.
The 32-year-old Britney Spears‘ younger sister finished in the bottom two in a’surprise’ outcome, along with dance partner Alan Bersten.
After labelling her first week as “average,” the Zoey 101 actress revealed that she wants to improve for her upcoming performance.
‘I think I’m going to make myself be out of comfort zone this week,’ she told viewers before hitting the dancefloor for the cha cha – set to Pitbull’s banger, Shake Senora.
Her efforts were praised by the judging panel, which included Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba.
‘You came out of your shell,’ Bruno said. ‘You entertained and connected.

‘You are a performer and you can do it!’
Jamie Lynn and fellow participant Adrian Peterson finished at the bottom of the pack after a fan vote, despite garnering lower marks from the judges.
‘There were a lot of great parts,’ she said of her time on the show. ‘I think it was meeting everybody and learning so much and doing something I never thought I would do my whole entire life.’
The actress earlier explained why she was competing on DWTS and stated that she would donate her pay to Sag-Aftra and the WGA during the ongoing strikes.

‘I don’t know if one could ever be 100% ready to take on something this big,’ Jamie Lynn said during an appearance on Good Morning America. ‘I didn’t realize what a commitment it is but it definitely is. I’m ready to challenge myself and also, being able to do it for a reason that means a lot to me.
‘While everybody in my community is on strike in Sag, I have this unique opportunity where I was offered a chance to work when my community cannot work.
‘So I figured I’ll do this and I will donate my weekly salary to Sag and WGA, to just give back to them at a time where they can’t give back to themselves.’

‘My 15 year old [Maddie] really was quite inspired for me to do this, which was very shocking,’ the mom-of-two said of her family’s reaction to her stint.
‘She’s an athlete, I think she wanted to see me push myself. Typically I’d be working on different ventures but I think it’s just important that I have this opportunity.
‘If I get up there and even if I embarrass myself, I’m doing it for a good reason and hopefully giving back to the community that’s literally given back to me since I was a little girl.’
Dancing With The Stars continues on Tuesdays on ABC.
