Following his caustic essay about Meghan Markle, Amazon Prime Video has parted relations with Jeremy Clarkson.
The Clarkson’s Farm vocalist, 62, sparked outrage last month when he said he ‘hated’ the Duchess of Sussex on a ‘cellular level’ and fantasised about her being paraded through the streets and ridiculed.
Variety reports that the streaming service will not collaborate with the TV personality beyond the seasons of The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm that have already been commissioned.
This means that the Top Gear star will not appear in any new Prime Video programmes after 2024.
This comes after Clarkson claimed that he apologised to the Suits actress, 41, and her husband, Prince Harry, for his column.
Clarkson said in a statement that ITV and Amazon, which broadcast Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and The Grand Tour, were ‘incandescent’ in the midst of the issue.

He wrote via Instagram: ‘The Sun quickly apologised and I tried to explain myself. But still, there were calls for me to be sacked and charged with a hate crime.’
‘More than 60 MPs demanded action to be taken. ITV, who make Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and Amazon, who make the Farm Show and the Grand Tour, were incandescent.’
He continued: ‘I therefore wrote to everyone who works with me saying how sorry I was and then on Christmas morning, I e-mailed Harry and Meghan in California to apologise to them too.
‘I said I was baffled by what they had been saying on TV but that the language I’d used in my column was disgraceful and that I was profoundly sorry.’
