Because she was frightened about getting ‘wrinkles,’ Jess Harding administered her own Botox before coming on Love Island.
The 22-year-old aesthetics practitioner is concerned about getting wrinkles on the reality dating programme, which has returned for a new series on ITV2.
And with millions of people watching the performance, there was no way she was going to go on without Botox – even if she had to do it herself.
The celebrity confessed that she really needed Botox before the start of Love Island, but ‘no one was accessible.’
She told OK! Magazine: ‘The other day I did do my own Botox because no one was available.’
Jess added: ‘It was horrible but I had to do it, you can’t have wrinkles on telly.’
It should be mentioned that Jess performs Botox on others for a livelihood, and we would not suggest the surgery to anybody else – and neither would Jess.
It’s not the first time she’s had operations performed on her, having previously gotten ‘a little bit of Botox and filler… because it’s so simple to say, “Go on then,” when it’s your job.
She claimed, though, that she does nothing ‘extreme,’ and that she gets Botox despite being ‘very afraid of needles.’
Jess is presently making waves in the villa after arriving as a surprise last week, and she is currently dating Sammy Root.
The diva has previously had fans in giggles – and some cringing – when she struggled with the word’reimburse’ and was certain it was’reimbursinating’ in a recent show.
Although, based off the actual discussion, she probably didn’t mean reimburse at all, and was likely seeking for the phrase ‘recreating’.
‘You’re reimbursing an action,’ Jess tried to explain, before asking: ‘Is reimburse a word?’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
