Jonnie Irwin seems to have had a wonderful holiday with his family, spending a few days away from home and sharing sweet photos from their special time together.
The A Place in the Sun star has three children with wife Jessica Holmes: Rex, four, and Rafa and Cormac, two.
Last November, the 49-year-old stated that his disease had progressed to his brain after being diagnosed with lung cancer in April 2020.
In June of this year, Jonnie said that he hadn’t told his children about his health after being given months to live because he feared it would ‘confuse’ them.
In a new post shared on Instagram, the presenter wrote in the caption: ‘The best weather, best fun and the very best people for a few days away.’
He uploaded numerous images of his wife, kids, and himself having a good time on their vacation, including one in which he was resting on a sun lounger with his three boys, who were all wearing similar, gorgeous outfits.
Jessica could be seen resting on the grass with a drink in her hand and the pool visible behind her in the first photo.
In another, their children were lined up, with Rex sporting a shark’s fin on his back and one of the twins sporting inflated armbands.
On the vacation, Jonnie and Jessica were joined by friends, and one of the photographs shows the entire party eating a meal while looking up at the camera.
Jessica was spotted waving while carrying some luggage in the last shot, which was apparently taken on the last day of the break.
Several of Jonnie’s Instagram followers praised him for sharing ‘precious’ family memories with them.
‘Precious pics ❤️,’ one person said, while another wrote: ‘A great time was had by all ❤️❤️ fabulous memories being made Jonnie x.’
Someone else commented: ‘Nothing better than a few days away with family and friends. Enjoy. ❤️.’
‘What a trio of darlings!’ one person wrote of Jonnie and Jessica’s children, as another added: ‘Beautiful family. Stay strong Jonnie. ❤️❤️❤️.’
