Kris Jenner was dissatisfied with how she learned her eldest child, Kourtney Kardashian, was having a child.
The 44-year-old reality personality revealed her pregnancy in June, saying she and her Blink 182 drummer husband Travis Barker, 47, were expecting a child while attending one of his band’s performances.
She made her fourth and his third child’s pregnancy public by putting up a placard that read: ‘Travis, I’m Pregnant’ during a Los Angeles date of his band’s tour, a throwback to their 1999 music video for All the Small Things.
Travis rushed off the stage to hug and kiss her, according to a video posted on Instagram by the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
However, Kris, 67, was not informed of her daughter’s plans and learned of the pregnancy at the same time as the rest of the globe.
In a teaser for this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian confesses Kris wasn’t pleased with how things played out.
‘My mum found out on the news. She wasn’t very happy,’ she shared.
Kris then added: ‘I thought I was being Punk’d.’
Travis returned home from his band’s European tour last month after Kourtney underwent emergency surgery that saved their unborn child’s life.
Soon after she shared a statement on social media saying she would be ‘forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our babies life’.
‘I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock,’ she added.
She also thanked her mother for being by her side, stating she helped ‘hold my hand through this’.
In June, the couple disclosed on social media that they were expecting a boy with a gender reveal video.
Kourtney already has three children with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
Travis and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler have two children: Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17.
The Kardashians airs on in the US and is available to stream on Disney Plus in the UK.
