Linda Nolan thanks fans for their love and support as she revealed the latest news on her cancer diagnosis.
The singer spoke on Monday’s Good Morning Britain with Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid to discuss her health after being diagnosed with incurable secondary breast cancer in 2017.
Speaking from her home in Blackpool, the 64-year-old explained that she had recently discovered that her cancer had spread to her brain and that she was about to begin radiotherapy as well as a new drug that had only been introduced in the previous year.
Following the chat, Linda tweeted her appreciation to the co-hosts and others who came out to her with nice notes.
‘Thank you to @susannareid100, @richardm56 and the @gmb team for the lovely interview,’ she wrote. ‘Thank you to everyone else for all the lovely messages.’
She then revealed the start date for her radiotherapy treatment, adding: ‘Next stop, radiotherapy tomorrow!’
One fan responded to the tweet: ‘Sending lots of love and positive vibes. You are such a inspirational lady.’
‘So sorry to hear this latest news Linda, I feel for you and am sending much love and big hugs to you as you face yet more treatment. You’re one very special lady and an inspiration to so many. Take care,’ someone else wrote.
Linda explained that the cancer was diagnosed in her brain after she fell three times.

She’s moved in with her sister Denise Nolan and her partner, and she’s also informed Richard and Susanna that she’ll be losing her hair for the fourth time.
‘As usual, my amazing family – I’m back living with my sister Denise and her partner Tom and Maureen has been looking after me for the last two weeks, just with balance issues, getting everything,’ she said.
‘As usual, my incredible family – I’m back living with my sister Denise and her spouse Tom, and Maureen has been caring after me for the last two weeks, simply with balancing difficulties, obtaining everything,’ she explained.
Linda, who uses a wheelchair, adding that she is ready for “the inevitable.”
‘It’s a scary trip to be on, this one,’ she stated.
She celebrated her 64th birthday with her loved ones in February of this year, blowing out the candles on her cake with passion.
